It will be the lunar new year soon and frankly speaking, I'm not that excited. It's not that I despise money. It is because of some unsavoury relatives! I have to visit people I only see once a year(and that annual event is coming right up) and face questions like:

"Eh, le eh kia sieh guai hor!" (question is directed to my mum)

then my mum will have to say something like

"buah lah."

Then they will ask me like

"le tiong ji huh"

then I will tell them my age and what school I attend. Then the punchline will be everyone saying in union that I look like a kid. Bleh. Then I have to sit on the sofa and everyone will look at my family as if we were a display at the museum or zoo. Can't blame them though, they will give me cash which I desperately need. As the old saying goes, "Beggars can't be choosers."

I had my reunion dinner with my folks last Saturday. Had it in a seafood restaurant at Changi. And let me say from experience. Heineken is not English Ale. It is one of the most damaging substance to your body! I had helluva fun drinking on Saturday but I faced the consequences on Sunday which is a bloody sore throat. Too heaty! Yeah. The folks will be going to have a reunion this Sunday. Make sure all 4E4 gathers! That's it. I'm gonna bathe. Need to cut + dye my hair for the upcoming new year. Cheerios! Not gonna waste time wishing you all a prosperous New Year. No one cares. We care about money:P
